Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. ¿Ves a tus amigos a menudo? ¿Qué tipo de actividades os gusta hacer juntos? (Do you see your friends often? What kind of activities do you like to do together?)
  2. ¿Prefieres ir a fiestas o hacer una noche de juegos de mesa juntos? ( Do you prefer going to parties or doing board game night together?)
  3. ¿Alguna vez has estado de viaje con tus amigos? ¡Cuéntanos sobre ello! (Have you ever been on a trip with your friends? Tell us about it!)

Example phrases:

Veo a mis amigos cada semana. Normalmente nos reunimos para tomar un café y charlar.

I see my friends every week. We usually meet for coffee and talk.

Sólo veo a mis amigos una o dos veces al mes. Luego, normalmente cenamos y jugamos juntos.

I only see my friends once or twice a month. Then we usually have dinner and play games together.

Prefiero salir cuando veo a mis amigos.

I prefer going out when I see my friends.

Me encanta jugar a juegos de mesa, así que siempre que veo a mis amigos jugamos al parchís juntos.

I love playing board games, so whenever I see my friends we play ludo together.

Con mi amigo Juán siempre juego al ajedrez.

With my friend Juán I always play chess.
