- "Muy" is used to intensify adjectives or adverbs.
- "Mucho" is used as an adverb to intensify verbs or to indicate frequency.
- "Mucho" can be used with comparative adjectives to intensify.
- We use "mucho/a/os/as" as adjectives that accompany nouns to indicate a large quantity.

Exceptions!
- "Muy" and "mucho" are not interchangeable. "Muy" cannot be used with nouns, and "mucho" cannot be used with adjectives or adverbs.
