  1. Use expressions like "a la izquierda", "a la derecha", "todo recto", "en el centro", "al lado de", "en frente de" to indicate an exact position or direction.
  2. Use expressions like "cerca de", "lejos de" to indicate proximity or relative location.
  3. To express a location, the preposition "de" is usually combined with an adverb "cerca, lejos, en frente..."
