Place expressions are words or phrases that we use to indicate where something or someone is. They are essential for giving or understanding directions and locations.

- Use expressions like "a la izquierda", "a la derecha", "todo recto", "en el centro", "al lado de", "en frente de" to indicate an exact position or direction.
- Use expressions like "cerca de", "lejos de" to indicate proximity or relative location.
- To express a location, the preposition "de" is usually combined with an adverb "cerca, lejos, en frente..."
