These exercises can be done together during conversation lessons or as homework.

Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. ¿Haces ejercicio? Si es así, ¿qué haces? (Do you exercise? If yes, what do you do?)
  2. ¿Cómo incluyes el ejercicio en tu vida diaria? (How do you include exercise in your daily life?)
  3. ¿Normalmente te sientes cansado o lleno de energía después de hacer ejercicio? (Do you usually feel tired or full of energy after exercising?)

Teaching guidelines +/- 10 minutes

Example phrases:

Hago yoga todos los días. También hago estiramientos.

I do Yoga everyday. I also do stretching.

Levanto pesas en el gimnasio tres veces a la semana. Me gusta porque me hace sentir fuerte.

I lift weights in the gym three times a week. I like it because it makes me feel strong.

Camino a mi oficina en lugar de coger el coche.

I walk to my office instead of taking the car.

Tengo una piscina, así que cada mañana nado durante media hora.

I have a swimming pool so every morning I swim for half an hour.

Siempre me siento bien después de hacer algún tipo de ejercicio. Me da energía.
