"Platero y yo" es un libro para niños sobre un burro y su amigo. Platero es un burro pequeño. Es muy suave. Platero y su amigo, el narrador, viven en un pueblo. El burro se siente feliz con su amigo. No están aburridos, porque están juntos. Tienen muchas aventuras. En una ocasión, Platero está asustado por un ruido fuerte. Otra vez, está contento porque encuentra muchas flores. El narrador lo cuida mucho. Es un libro lleno de momentos felices y tristes.

Translation

"Platero and I" is a children's book about a donkey and his friend. Platero is a small donkey. He is very soft. Platero and his friend, the narrator, live in a village. The donkey feels happy with his friend. They are not bored, because they are together. They have many adventures. On one occasion, Platero is frightened by a loud noise. Another time, he is happy because he finds many flowers. The narrator takes great care of him. It's a book full of happy and sad moments.
