La Universidad de Salamanca es la más antigua de España. Fue creada en el año 1218 por el rey Alfonso IX. Es una de las universidades más importantes de Europa. En el pasado grandes personajes como Cristóbal Colón estudiaron y se graduaron allí. Hoy muchos estudiantes de todo el mundo van a estudiar a Salamanca y a hacer cursos académicos. La ciudad es famosa por su ambiente universitario y cultural. Es un lugar lleno de historia y vida académica.

The University of Salamanca is the oldest in Spain. It was founded in the year 1218 by King Alfonso IX. It is one of the most important universities in Europe. In the past, great figures such as Christopher Columbus studied and graduated there. Today, many students from all over the world go to study in Salamanca and take academic courses. The city is famous for its university and cultural atmosphere. It is a place filled with history and academic life.
